The 2001 Annual Wardell Family Picnic was held August 11, 2001.  You can see photos of the picnic on a separate page in the photo album.  JoAnne and I made a whirlwind trip to Indiana for the picnic, leaving San Francisco the evening of Wed. August 8th, and returning to San Francisco the evening of Sun. Aug. 12th.  While we were in Indiana, we stayed with JoAnne's sister and husband, Jeanine & Larry King.  Her brother Herb and his wife Eloise Wardell were there also, having flown up from Savannah, GA.  This set of snapshots were taken at Jeanine and Larry's.  Click on the small thumbnail photo to view a full size version.

JoAnne   The next set of photos are from the Lakeside, Indiana, county fair.  We had the great joy of attending the fair with JoAnne's Nieces Lisa, Laura, & Linda (Jeanine's daughters), Lisa's daughter Christine & her son Ethan, Linda's daughters Jessica and Ashley, Laura's son Dakota, and JoAnne's son Joe! That made 4 generations at the fair, with JoAnne & I the elder generation!
